Big Bang (Korean: 빅뱅; commonly stylized as BIGBANG) is a popular South Korean boy group under the management of YG Entertainment. Formed in 2006, Big Bang has grown to become one of the most successful Asian acts in the world. The group consists of leader G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri.
Alive is the fifth extended play by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released on February 29, 2012 by the group's record label, YG Entertainment. G-Dragon, the leader of Big Bang, was credited with writing the lyrics and composing all songs. Furthermore, T.O.P penned additional rap for all songs, excluding the intro and Daesung's self written solo, Wings.
